Report on Sawyers ASD repair

Thanks to all of you for your concerns and prayers for Sawyer. His heart had multiple holes in Atrial Septum which had to be repaired. He doctor said if he could not patch all the holes with the Gortex patch today, Sawyer would need open heart surgery. The physician was able to patch all the holes with the Gortex patch. Praise the Lord for guiding this wonderful doctor to make the patch close all the holes. God has blessed our family one more time. Tonight Sawyer has been moving around a little, had his antibiotics and doing as well as can be expected for little boy that went through what he did today. The physician came by and told him he would feel much better in a couple of days. This little brave guy is ready to go home he says. Tomorrow morning after his echocardiogram he will be dismissed. The nursing staff has been wonderful to this little guy. Thank you Lord for UAB. God is GOOD.
