Update on MaggieJo and Trixie

Ken went with me to take both our little babies to see Dr. Eric today. I had dreaded taking Trixie, the wild cat, to get her rabies as she usually hisses at every one This was her first visit with Dr. Eric. We had warned Dr. E. that she was a TIGER and her last vet required us to have her put to sleep for her rabies shot. Well Dr. E. has that magic power. He opened the cat travel box, patted her without her making a hiss or anything...kept on patting her and gave her her injection. No Problem at all....That Dr. E. is one heck of a vet. He gets the trophy. Of course, he gave MaggieJo her check up when we got her in August. Today she went back for a skin itch/rash which believe it or not is caused by allergens. I would pick a doggie that was allergic like me. Dr. E. put her on some meds and she is already not scratching like she was. This should help her feel better. IF things go well, they both are ready to go for the annual this time next year.
Both of them are getting really to be big friends. They both can sleep in the same room now. MaggieJo has never minded Trixie, it was Trixie's horrible personality. Maybe she needed a friend. so bad that she settled for the Imperial ShinTzu.
