Sawyer and Preston's regular ball seasons have ended . Preston played on the 6 year old Cubs . Sawyer was on the 5 year old Yankees team. (Yes, he is only 4). Sawyer also was moved up to the 6 year old Cubs team (last 4 games) to play for one of the players that had surgery. Sawyer did very well with these six year olds...He had no strike outs, some RBI's and made several scores. He enjoyed being a Cub, his favorite baseball team.
Sawyer's team won as the top team in the 5 year old league. The park gave them special recognition with trophies and a baseball medal. Preston's team came in 3rd place this year.
Both boys have been selected as all stars. They are in practice and their games will be played at the Hoover Athletic Association park.
Sawyer had his team party last Saturday night at Fox Pizza in Argo area on Hwy 11.. The boys had a great time. They got another trophy. Lots of pizza, games and cokes for everyone. They all enjoyed the party. (See pictures above) Denise served as Team Mom and received a gift certificate from the team. Sawyer is getting his trophy from Coach Robert as Preston watched from behind.

Preston's party is planned for May 27th. Preston had a good year with a home run, hits to the fence (doubles) and very few strike outs. He was the most consistent hitter on his team. Good Year Preston.
