DECEMBER IS LOOKING A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS

On December 2nd, Girl's Night Out - UAB friends enjoyed a nice Christmas dinner at Bone Fish Grill. This seems to be our favorite place. For the past couple of years, we decided not to exchange gifts, and give to our favorite charity. This is what Christmas is all about -- friendship and Love. Friday, December 5th, we attended the Open House of the Wayne Hobson .PC. Wayne and Eva Hobson welcomed us in to a beautiful buffet lunch. There was so much food: barbeque pork, chicken, ribs,and all the trimmings. Yummy, as was the desserts. There were so many goodies, you had to try at least two. It was great to meet so many friends of the firm. Thanks, Eva and Wayne for the great hospitality. Eva, see you in a few weeks for that dreaded task of tax filing. Well today the news media reminded me only 15 days until Christmas.. I have our Christmas cards printed, addressed and most of them mailed. My out of town packages mailed, a tree up and some of my decorations out. Now we have to finish the shopping." It is beginning to look like Christmas at our house. Now to get doing some baking of goodies. Love doing this.. Next week will be busy for us. We will attend Preston and Sawyers school Christmas programs, as well as the Awana program at their church. Preston's school play is on Tuesday morning at 10 am. On Wednesday Preston and Sawyer both will be a part of the Awana Program at SRCC. On Thursday night Sawyer has his school Christmas program Both boys love to have their grandparents come to their programs. Life is repeating itself, with the 20 years difference in age of our 4 grandsons.

Saturday Night, December 19th, we are having our family Christmas dinner in honor of our Mom and Dad who loved our family Christmas get togethers. Brenda and Asa Davis are having it at their home in McCalla, AL. Attending will be all seven children,/spouses, their children and grandchildren. Large families make Christmas wonderful. We do have a big family with lots of Christmas memories.
